Travel Channel Adds More Paranormal Shows to Fall Lineup

Every now then, if you're really lucky, you can catch some interesting paranormal shows on the Travel Channel. Finally realizing that their audience is interested in something other than bald dudes eating weird international foods, the new fall season will bring the spooky back to Friday nights.

Along with a new (and unnecessary) season of Most Haunted, two new shows will debut in the coming weeks. First off, Britain's favorite flamboyant psychic is BACK!

Derek Acorah's new series "Paranormal Egypt" premiered on August 8th. Think "Most Haunted" minus the screeching ninnies. More about Derek's endless capacity to entertain than serious paranormal investigation; it's a fun show with little substance.

Another new show features the guys from "Ghost Adventures"; a documentary about a couple of dudes hunting for ghosties in Nevada. The guys actually caught some amazing footage at the Goldfield Hotel so I'm really looking forward to this one. According to the site, Zak and the gang will traverse the country looking for "the most sinister haunted locations in the US". The first episode airs on 10/17 so fire up those DVR's!
