You don't have to be a diehard Trekkie to enjoy the festivities. The people are wonderful, the costumes are insane, and the atmosphere is happy, positive, and family-friendly. No kiddies? No worries? After dark is grown-up time with Karaoke, parties and all sorts of festivities.
